Creative practice
Build an image prompt with intention
A strong image prompt is a small creative brief. Instead of stacking words such as “amazing” and “high quality”, describe what should be visible and how the image should feel. Begin with a clear scene, then add only the details that help someone picture it.
Choose a subject and a setting
State the main subject first: a ceramic cup, a quiet garden, a puppy in a parked convertible. Add the environment and any important interaction. If the subject matters most, say that it should remain the focal point rather than competing with a busy background.
Think about the intended crop
A wide website banner and a square social post need different compositions. Mention the format and whether you need quiet space for a headline that you will add separately. Avoid placing important details close to the edges if the image will be cropped on smaller screens.
Describe light and materials
Lighting gives a scene direction. Compare “soft morning light through a window” with “direct midday sun and crisp shadows”. Materials make the scene concrete: textured paper, brushed metal, worn leather or individual strands of fur. Choose details that fit the scene rather than adding contradictory styles.
An editorial photograph of a cream puppy sitting in a parked vintage convertible beside a coastal road. Soft natural afternoon light, realistic fur and slightly worn leather. The puppy is the focal point, with the sea softly out of focus behind it. Landscape composition. No text, logos or watermark.
Review the image, not just the overall impression
Check anatomy, object edges, reflections and any lettering. A convincing first glance does not guarantee that every detail is plausible. If a feature is wrong, request a targeted revision and say what must remain unchanged.
Keep readable headlines and important product information in your design tool or website markup rather than relying on generated lettering. This also makes the text easier to translate and more accessible.
Use the result honestly
Do not present an imagined scene as evidence of a real event, a real customer experience or an exact product specification. Make sure you have permission to use reference material. When the distinction matters to your audience, identify the artwork as AI-generated.
In MohChat, Astra access and generation allowances depend on the current plan. Review those details before generating a series of variations.
